Four Seasons Flowers was started in September 1974 in Poway by my mother, Barbara Bertran, in a warehouse our family owns. The first two years were strictly selling house plants, pottery, macramé and assorted items related to house plants.
Our business grew and 11 years after we opened we expanded to our Penasquitos location. We had 2 beautiful flower shops across the freeway from each other. Through many changes, both encouraging and trying, in 2009 we decided to consolidate the 2 stores into one. We currently have a busy flower shop that services the greater San Diego area all from our Penasquitos location in the Vons shopping center.
We continue to be a family owned and operated flower shop. In January of 2001 Barbara sold the flower shop to my husband, David and me. We have been very fortunate in the caliber of people who have been and are employed at Four Seasons Flowers. We have an excellent reputation that has allowed us to expand our business. This was accomplished by giving excellent service and by considering the customer as the very most important part of our business.
 Through the years we have had the opportunity to create many floral pieces for everyday needs, funerals, parties, prom and weddings. Through this process we have become experts at floral creations for all our customers needs.  The most rewarding floral experience I have received is the process of wedding and party work. Taking the time to work with a bride/event planner, figuring out their needs, desires and working within a budget is both challenging and satisfying.
Our clients are extremely happy with our service and have referred us to friends, relatives and even their own children through the many years. We have a motto and we all believe in it: "We care as much as you do!" Thank you for your interest in Four Seasons Flowers.
